Questions for Isaac

I was tagged in this note on facebook, but I thought I would copy and paste Isaac's answers here.

This is hilarious. If you participate, make sure you DON'T prompt your child...I just sat there in silence until she answered...not easy for me to do!********************************This is a cute idea. Copy this note, ask your kid the questions and write them down exactly how they respond.

1. What is something mom always says to you? I love you

2. What makes mom happy? To obey

3. What makes mom sad? When I am growing bigger

4. How does your mom make you laugh? jokes

5. What did your mom like to do as a child? play

6. How old is your mom? I don’t know

7. How tall is your mom?eight

8. What is her favorite thing to watch on TV? Grown up TV

9. What does your mom do when you're not around? babysitt

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? money

11. What is your mom really good at? making dinner

12. What is your mom not very good at? Making toys

13. What does your mom do for her job? work

14. What is your mom's favorite food? spaghetti (not really, but that is what we had last night)

15. What makes you proud of your mom? To play

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? Mickey Mouse

17. What do you and your mom do together? play

18. How are you and your mom the same? We grew up in the same place

19. How are you and your mom different? Its cuz you are taller

20. How do you know your mom loves you? She always hugs me

21. What does your mom like most about your dad? play

22. Where is your mom's favorite place to go? nowhere (maybe I need to get out more...)

Good thing that was the last question because then Isaac said,
“I have to go now, I have to fix my spaceship, the brakes are broken and I have to go back down to earth.”

Little Skier

Several weekends ago Matt took Isaac to this cute little ski hill. Isaac loved it, I think he is already a better skier than me...

We actually took the whole family the following weekend, but between three not so good skiers (the kids and myself) we didn't get any pics. Too bad because Kaylee was too cute!

So this afternoon Matt and were driving the kids to the Y to go swimming and they were driving us crazy (to say the least...) They were screaming and fighting in the backseat. Not understanding why they felt the need to act this way when we were taking them somewhere fun Matt says to me, "I mean, what else can we do for these kids?" Not missing a beat, Isaac says, "maybe buy us icecream?"

You have got to be kidding me...

It did lighten the mood a bit though...

Happy Birthday Matt

Thanks Aunt Jane for telling me you would be checking the blog for some pictures... it inspired me to actually get them posted!

We celebrated Matt's 31st birthday in style on Wednesday....

Happy Birthday cake (it's a house if you couldn't tell...)

We gave him a book to jump start his next project...

Isaac picks out his tree house.. he said, "Daddy will probably build it the first day we move in"
