What is new with little Kaylee?

*She is eating 3 "meals" a day (rice ceral for breakfast, fruit for lunch, veggies for dinner)

*She is a master mover. She can roll her way across a room

*She LOVES her brother. This morning at breakfast Isaac was irritating me by leaning over his chair and letting Dutch lick his face. While I was telling Isaac to sit back on his chair (for the 8th time) I noticed that Kaylee was just sitting in her highchair laughing. I thought "who's side are you on anyway?" and then I realized- Isaac's. It's two against one around here during the day.

And what is Isaac up to?

*He talks from the moment he wakes up until the moment he falls asleep.

*Most of his talking is in the form of questions. He wants to know what everything is and what everyone/everything is doing. Ex (In a rather LOUD voice at the store) What is that woman doing mommy? Or, what is my salad doing mommy?

*He goes back and forth between making me laugh hysterically and making me want to pull my hair out (see pics...)

Isaac is examining his fingers after a bath. He said, "these hotdogs mommy"

There's nothing like reading a good book while watching the morning cartoons. The cartoon: Mickey Mouse Club House; The book: A New Mother's Guide to Breastfeeding

"Where the sucker mommy?"

"Why can't you just use a kleenex Isaac?"

Michigan Highlights

Last weekend we took a quick trip to Michigan. I guess Detroit isn't such a hot destination in March because we were able to get round trip tickets for $78 a person. With a deal like that, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to get Isaac and Kaylee home to see their Bapas. (that's grandparents for those of you who are not familiar with Isaac-ease)

Some highlights from the trip:

We drove to the Holland Aquatic Center in a blizzard. It was well worth risking our lives on the snow and ice because the kids had a blast!! What a great place!!!! I wish they would build a Holland Aquatic Center in Brunswick...
Isaac got to spend some time with his favorite cousin Nathan (sorry Katie...) When I showed him this picture he just kept laughing and saying "Nathan in there"

Isaac loved the bouncing horse. But even more he loved wearing a cowboy hat, and making my dad wear one too.

A rare moment- 2 kids sitting still, neither one crying and both looking at the camera.

And of course, it wouldn't be a trip to Mema and Bepa's if Isaac didn't get some time to play with his daddy's old toys.
